Hi Everyone We are looking into organising some uniform options for franchisees to order. We were thinking of a couple of different dress/business shirts and polo shirt options with the Jtax logo and possibly the CPA logo as well. Similar to these in black (similar to pic) and charcoal (grey not pictured), which is what we have had in the past but we are open to new colour suggestions. If this is something you would be interested in ordering please comment on this post so before we spend the time in getting this organised we wanted to make sure this is something everyone is interested in. If you have some other ideas of marketing merchandise you would like please also comment with suggestions on this post. We do have designs for flyers and car magnets in the marketing section on the training site that you can order through Head Office but we need suggestions from you on what you would like to see made available.

We have added quite a few templates to FYI for you to use. Most of the regular ones such as Form of General Authority (FGA), Client checklists, workpapers, etc are in there, along with some new ones. To get to the templates and reference materials just click on Knowlege in the Blue toolbar in FYI. From there you should see the Templates, Policies & Procedures and Reference Materials tabs. We have named them so you can easily see what the template is for and tried to categorise them so all they are easy to find depending on what you are looking for. For example the BAS checklists and workpapers all start with "BAS - ...." the documents for completing individual returns start with "Individual - ..." and so on. There are Admin templates, such as Letter head, cover letters, etc. ATO templates such as lodgement deferral applications, order forms for all types of entities to give to clients who want to set up a new entity so you can gather all of the details you need to set it up, and many more. We are still in the process of moving them across from Documetn Resources in the training site and will be adding more and more templates and resources for you in the New Year. For now, if the template isn't yet in FYI it will still be available in Document Resources as per normal procedure. Engagement letters haven't been moved across yet as we are working on getting this all automated in FYI so you can email them directly from FYI to your clients to sign. This will be available in the New Year.

FYI have launched FYI Learn which is an online course library, available to all FYI users, to learn the functionality available in FYI. Initially it is just the basics, but there will be more courses added regularly. To get to FYI Learn, all you do is click on the ? in the circle on the top right hand side of the screen and select Learn. This will take you to your personal learning space which will track your progress through the available courses. This will be a great resource for all of us to learn more about the functionality available to us with FYI.

You can preview a document in FYI without having to download it or cliocking on read to open it. To Preview just click once on the document to select it, then the filing drawer will open on the right hand side. On the left hand side of the drawer there is a PREVIEW tab. Click on the PREVIEW tab to open a preview of the document. You can scroll through the whole document, zoom in and out or print from the preview. You don't even need to close the preview to select a different document, just click once on another document on the list on the left and it will preview that one for you. When done you can just click on the X to close the preview window.

Did you know you can quickly and easily change/update a document name in FYI? Once you have uploaded the document to FYI to update the name all you need to do is click on the document once to select it which will open up the Drawer on the right hand side of the screen. To update the document name just click on the name and make the changes, then click on the tick. This will save the new document name, without duplicating the document in the client file
